When it comes to creating unforgettable wedding experiences, few things are as important — or as memorable — as the food. Your Farms Your Table (YFYT) is leading the way in redefining wedding catering with their exceptional, hyper-personalized approach. Whether through their flagship restaurant, Restaurant Constance, or one of the stunning venues at Beau Monde, YFYT delivers a culinary experience that is as unique as each couple they serve.
Recently, YFYT hosted an intimate wedding for long-time patrons Sabrina and Joe, showcasing their signature farm-to-table magic. We spoke with YFYT CEO Jill Vande Woude about the growing trend of hyper-personalized catering and how it’s shaping the future of the wedding industry.

What does hyper-personalized wedding catering mean, and why has it become popular in the wedding industry?
To me, hyper-personalized wedding catering means creating a dining experience that reflects a couple’s unique love story. It goes beyond cookie-cutter menus and traditional buffet setups to something more meaningful and memorable. I think this approach has gained popularity because couples today want to create meaningful, memorable experiences for their guests. In a world saturated with social media, where so much can feel overly aesthetic or impersonal, there’s been a shift away from “standard” weddings, whether that’s a venue everyone uses or the classic choice between chicken, pasta, or fish. People are craving something different, something that represents their tastes and identities. Maybe they’ve always dreamed of an authentic Italian feast, an elevated Mexican-inspired menu, or a meal that brings together flavors from their heritage. That’s where we come in: curating menus that aren’t just meals but experiences, infused with local ingredients from our farmers and Chef Sam’s creative touch. Couples are spending a large portion of their wedding budget towards food, so they want it to be something guests will remember forever. We hope to create those moments for couples where someone says, “that was the best meal at a wedding I’ve ever had.”
What led YFYT to adopt a hyper-personalized style, and is it a sustainable business approach to catering?
At Your Farms Your Table, we believe food is a love language. It nourishes us, connects us, and tells a story. That’s why we embrace hyper-personalization, allowing couples to replicate cherished family recipes or highlight cultural dishes that hold deep meaning.
Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword for us. It’s who we are as a business. Keeping everything close to home not only supports our community, but ensures that the meals we create are fresh, ethical, and meaningful.
Many traditional catering companies over-purchase, leading to significant food waste. Our model is different: we buy intentionally, build lasting relationships with farmers, and keep our supply chain local. Many catering companies prioritize cost over quality, sourcing ingredients based on what’s cheapest. We like to make sure our menus reflect seasonality and our commitment to local farmers.
We never negotiate with farmers. When local dollars stay local, everyone benefits.

What is the collaboration process between YFYT and couples to create a personalized menu?
It all starts with a conversation with the couple. With every menu, we dream big and narrow it down from there. Throughout the conversation, we really get to know the couple. What flavors bring back memories, what dishes are their favorites, and which ingredients have sentimental value. From there, we discuss style. Do they want a plated meal, family-style service, or interactive food stations? We also outline the seasonal ingredients available at the time of their wedding and provide recommendations based on what’s freshest. Flexibility is key, and we make sure couples understand that while we can’t promise a specific ingredient months in advance, we will always create something equally incredible aligned with their vision. For example, we had the privilege of catering and planning a client’s micro-wedding at our flagship restaurant, Restaurant Constance. As frequent patrons throughout their two years of dating, they had marked countless milestones with us, making it the perfect setting to celebrate their special connection. From sharing a quiet moment in the back booth before the ceremony to enjoying Fleetwood Mac and their favorite non-alcoholic cocktails, every detail was thoughtfully designed to reflect their story. It’s a beautiful example of how couples not only desire personalization but also how it’s our mission, and job, to bring their vision to life. Our goal is simple: no two weddings should feel the same because no two couples are the same. Each menu reflects the couple, their tastes, and their story.
What is the partnership between Beau Monde and YFYT, and what makes this experience unique from venues that provide catering?
Our partnership with Beau Monde began in May 2024. Our team executes the catering operating from their commercial kitchen at The Casey.
When we stepped in, we inherited existing menus, but over time, we’ve revamped them to incorporate more of our founder, Chef Sam Diminich’s, culinary vision and prioritize local sourcing. One of the most exciting aspects of our partnership is the ability to customize. While there are set menu options, we always find ways to go beyond. For example, we recently worked with a Portuguese family who wanted a hibachi-style experience, something not found on any of the standard catering menus, but something we made happen.
We’ve catered Latin American-focused events, Indian weddings, and more, always ensuring authenticity and respect for cultural traditions. That adaptability and commitment to detail sets us apart, and something we’re grateful to Beau Monde for.
Are there certain menu items or serving styles that work better for specific venues or outdoor locations?
Absolutely not. We don’t need a traditional kitchen to create a five-star dining experience. We’ve set up full pop-up kitchens in tents and cooked entire meals on grills. Ultimately, our role is to adapt. Whether we’re working at a farm, a grand ballroom, or an intimate backyard wedding, we craft menus and service styles that enhance the environment and create an unforgettable meal.
How does the chef handle last-minute changes or unexpected requests on the wedding day if limited by seasonal ingredients?
We’re always prepared for last-minute changes because we know they’re part of the process. Unlike many catering companies, we’re not just showing up with pre-cooked dishes in hot boxes. While certain elements are prepped beforehand, we finish everything on-site, allowing us to adjust in real time. Whether it’s an allergy, a restriction, or someone just doesn’t like a particular ingredient, we can create a great dish on the spot that still aligns with the overall menu and vision of the event. We work with so many incredible local farms and have access to a variety of seasonal produce, it allows us to make this happen.
