The Styled Challenge is a design competition showcasing the works of talented wedding professionals from local areas. Each designer is given the task to create an exceptional wedding ceremony and reception arrangement in the provided venue. The best design is voted by our viewers on Southern Bride Facebook live. The Hammock Beach Competition includes top 2 wedding planners and 2 exceptional venues: Lodge Tent & Event Lawn and Conservatory Clubhouse & Lawn.

The inspiration for this wedding concept came from the designer’s personal style and vision for future wedding plans, currently being imagined on the coast of Italy. It reflects the romance and elegance that can be achieved within the stunning architecture and coastal setting of the venue. Hammock Beach Resort, located on the beautiful beaches of Palm Coast, FL, features one of the largest outcroppings of coquina rocks and serves as the perfect backdrop for a classy, coastal wedding.
The design includes timeless, classic black and white elements, along with an homage to the pinks and peaches typical of a seaside setting. The aim is to blend the natural beauty of the venue and its surroundings with elegant features to create a memorable and picturesque design. Guests can expect mixed textures, luxurious fabrics, personalized details, and distinctive floor designs throughout the spaces.
The desired floral arrangements will blend whites with subtle pinks and peaches that showcase anthuriums and orchids, adding a touch of seaside tropics. The ceremony site is envisioned to be alluring and refined, featuring a combination of chic cushioned chairs, lounge furniture, and a striking aisle and altar. Muted pink tones will be reflected in various elements such as stationery, florals, specialty glasses of rosé, and candles.
The reception space aims to exude a romantic atmosphere, illuminated by candlelight and adorned with sophisticated glassware, rich textures, and playful fabrics throughout. From stationery and models to design spaces, the goal is to craft an unforgettable atmosphere for a black-tie, coastal wedding.
